Anchoring contract awarded to Incus company
Incus subsidiary Scana Offshore AS has been awarded a contract in connection with the modification of anchoring equipment on Yinson Nepeta Productions Ltd’s (“Yinson”) FPSO Allan. The production vessel will operate on the Anyala and Madu fields within Oil Mining Leases 83 and 85 in Nigeria.
Scana Offshore’s delivery comprises an upgrade of the FPSO’s anchoring system to increase its capacity and monitor anchoring forces. The main part of the job will be the delivery of hull engineering services and reinforcement of chain stoppers, as well as delivering key components and a complete monitoring system. The fabrication and integration work will be carried out at a yard to be nominated by Yinson. The modification of existing equipment will result in reduced costs and shorter delivery times, which is crucial due to the short yard stay.
We are very pleased to be chosen as the supplier for this contract. It shows that we have smart solutions that save the customer costs, and that we are competitive in terms of delivery times.
Yinson’s Anyala & Madu project will start immediately and is scheduled for delivery in Q3 2019.
